For decades, corporations have relied on costly market research initiatives to gather information and insights as a means of measuring customer satisfaction and opinions. Our goal was to build upon this concept to develop an enterprise-class, social platform that would empower everyone, not just large corporations, to have their ideas and opinions heard, measured and responded to – the result is IdeaPipe.
IdeaPipe is an exciting new social medium that enables companies, groups, associations and even individuals to share their ideas, gather feedback and collaborate with one another. Registered users can submit their ideas on any topic or create their own groups based upon topics of interest. Users can also share ideas with their friends and associates and even reach out to collaborate with like-minded individuals through social networking sites links such as Facebook.
While IdeaPipe’s "popularity meter" may seem to have a lot in common with social bookmarking sites; it is there where the comparison abruptly ends. Unlike social bookmarking sites, users of IdeaPipe are not reliant upon the content and articles of others but rather submit their own ideas and supporting URLs.
What's more; IdeaPipe is free to anyone who has a thought or idea. On top of that, corporations, non-profits or any other type of organization can get a branded version of IdeaPipe using their own URL. And yes, we even our own dog food! Let us know what you think the future of IdeaPipe should look like by posting your ideas about what functionality you would like to see in the future!
